We’re working on behalf of a 78-bed hospital for patients requiring hospitalization for cancer treatment.  The hospital is truly one of the world’s premier pediatric cancer research centers.  Its mission is to find cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.  The hospital sees about 7,500 patients annually, most of whom are treated on a continuing outpatient basis and are part of ongoing research programs.  The hospital has treated children from all 50 states and from around the world.  Families never receive a bill from the hospital for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.  Treatments invented at the hospital have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
