They offer a continuum of inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for mental health and substance abuse treatment for adults, 18 and older. Looking for a great opportunity?  We seek a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to treat patients on a daily basis in the hospital’s Outpatient Services building. In this role you will work with patients enrolled in the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs by conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication follow-up visits. You will collaborate with a psychiatrist, master’s prepared therapists, and other outpatient staff in a treatment team to provide the best possible care to our clients. You will be expected to contact members of the patient’s support system and any external providers that are able to collaborate in the process of treating the patient. You will be responsible for upholding and maintaining a standard of practice that meets all state regulations, federal regulation, and facility policies.

Candidates must have a Masters degree in Nursing and be licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of Oregon (or have the ability to gain this licensure).  Our preferred candidate will have two (2) or more years’ experience within a psychiatric setting. Completion of CPR/BLS Certification, Crisis Management and Service Excellence training must occur within 60 days of employment and prior to assisting in any restraining procedures.
