We’re working on behalf of a 148-bed community-based, university-affiliated teaching hospital that provides award-winning care through a variety of advanced inpatient and outpatient services.   The hospital’s advanced services include cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics and sports medicine.   Tucked in the northwest section of Philadelphia, just 25 minutes from Center City, the hospital is located on Chestnut Hill’s main street, which is a treasure trove of shops, galleries, boutiques, home furnishings stores and restaurants.  Stretching almost 10 blocks, the avenue boasts cobblestone streets and historic facades on many shops and businesses — all adding to the picturesque charm.
           
Looking for a change of scenery?  We seek a Registered Nurse with charge nurse or management experience and three (3) or more years of psychiatric/geriatric experience for the role of Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Senior Behavioral Health Unit.  In this role you will ensure completion of all treatment plans and coordinate the signing of all documentation with interdisciplinary team to ensure 100% compliance.  You will oversee in-depth fall prevention program and fall safety w/ ongoing staff education to all nurses and MHT's and tracking data for QIC and NDNQI w/ collaboration with the hospital fall committee. You will manage the RN/MHT Preceptor training program. You will coordinate inpatient and outside referrals as well as walk-ins from the ED and triaging calls. You will audit all environmental rounds, Q 7 1/2 minute rounds and ongoing staff education.
 
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree and be licensed as an RN in the state of Pennsylvania.  Preference given to candidates with a Masters degree.  Candidates must have previous charge nurse or management experience.  Must have three (3) or more years of psychiatric/geriatric experience.  Candidates must have strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision making skills.
