Looking for an opportunity with a leader?  We seek candidates with experience managing hospital commercial receivables of at least $75,000,000 per month and demonstrated management experience for the role of Patient Billing/Collections Manager.  In this role you will be responsible for managing 2-3 supervisors, 1 lead, and full-time employees on the day-to-day operations of the unit which includes Transplant Package billing for facility and medical center claims and all collection follow-up activities and related support functions.  You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely Non-Government patient billing and collection of facility and hospital transplant claims and for the all collection activities on commercial financial classes.  Responsibilities also include for development of good relationships and written procedures in coordination with other departments in the Medical Center.  You will develop and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly productivity summaries for the unit and be responsible for accurate data reporting.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree and 4-6 years of experience in commercial and contracted payor regulations and requirements.  Just have strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, concepts, and policies and their impact throughout the organization, with an in-depth understanding of related functions and issues, including coding, registration, billing, reimbursements, aging accounts, contractual adjustments, and charge capture.  Must have demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to create and maintain a goal-oriented climate of teamwork and cooperation across departments for effective problem solving, conflict resolution, support for organizational values.  Must have strong project management skills with the ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and delegate assignments efficiently.
