Looking for a terrific opportunity with a national leader?  We seek a Pharm.D. with PGY-2 and/or PGY-1 residency training in critical care or pain management for the role of Senior Pharmacist Supervisor, Perioperative.  In this role you will interview, select or effectively recommend the selection of prospective employees.  You will review and evaluate the work of subordinate professional and ancillary technical staff. You will review the quality control of the work performed. You will evaluate workload, space, equipment, and staffing. You will assist in the preparation of the budget.  This position may also encompass staff and clinical responsibilities including CPR team, drug information, kinetic monitoring, and clinical intervention.  Among the essential services, you will maintain a key decision role in the planning, selection, implementation, and maintenance of computerized patient information systems, including computerized order-entry systems, to facilitate clinical decision support, data analysis, and education of users for the purpose of ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
Candidates must have a Pharm.D. and be licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of California (or have the ability to gain this licensure).  Candidates must have three (3) or more years of experience as a licensed pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy.  Preference given to candidates with PGY-2 and/or PGY-1 residency training.  Must have the flexibility to work at all medical center locations.  Must have active CPR.
