Looking for a change of scenery?  We seek a Registered Nurse with two (2) or more years of acute care operating room experience for the role of RN - Operating Room.  In this role you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.  You will document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.  You will direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.  You will ensure your own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.  You will participate in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Washington (or have the ability to gain this licensure).  Preference given to candidates with a BSN.  Preference given to candidates with three (3) or more years of OR RN experience.  Must be able to scrub and circulate independently.  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.  Must be able to promote positive interpersonal relationships and patient/family centered work environment.  Must be willing to take call up to 9 days per month.  Must be willing to float to the general OR when there are no CVOR cases.
