Looking for a great opportunity with a great healthcare organization?   We seek a Registered Nurse with demonstrated experience in curriculum development, planning, implementation and evaluation in a nursing school program for the role of Assistant Director of Nursing.  In this role you will join a medical center that offers a three-year academic program leading to a Diploma in Nursing.  In this role you will guide and direct course facilitator and instructor in course design, implementation, scheduling, and evaluation to achieve the student learning outcomes of each course, level, and the program of study. You will utilize current adult educational principles and student-centered learning strategies. You will serve as an active faculty member. You will assist with operational, personnel and capital budget planning, implementation and controls.

Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Nursing and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.  Must demonstrated management skills and knowledge of curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. Must demonstrate leadership ability and have knowledge of basic principles, theory, techniques of nursing and the skills necessary to insure quality nursing  education. Must have strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills.  Must be able to assume direct responsibility for  educating students in the classroom and clinical settings and faculty teaching assignments for course facilitators and instructors.
